HEAVY FOG AT AUCKLAND.

SHIPPING DELAYED. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 10. Since an early' hour this morning a heavy fog lias enveloped the harbour and Gulf. Old captains assort that never before in their experience has a fog lasted so long. Coastal snipping is delayed, and the sailing of several steamers , has been postponed. The ferry steamer Condor stranded near St. Ilellier's Bay this morning, and floated with the rising tide. To-night the small steamer Minerva is reported ashore in the Gulf, but the report is not confirmed. The bargue Joan Craig, from Newcastle, has evidently anchored in the Gulf. The ferry captains are having an anxious time, but are guided by sirens and fog -horns, which at present are going continually at various .points.
