... N.Z.A.A.A. MEETING OF- COUNCIL. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 7. The Council of‘the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association met this evening. A letter from the Canterbury Centre regarding the conditions covering relay races was held over pending the receipt of a report from the Paris Conference on, Olympic Games rules. The Canterbury Centre aUp asked that the following be added to Amateur Association rules: ‘Tliat. competitors will declare all wins and plaoings -after the time of entering for any meeting to be held, ana subsequent date.’’ . t was decided to invito opinions of other centres on the proposal. Wellington and Canterbury Centres applied for the 1914 cross-country championship, and it was decided to allocate it to Canterbpry, which is to be asked to arrange a, suitable date, probably in September. Leslie Henry Buchanan, of Christchurch, applied for reinstatement as an amateur,'and was directed to apply again in January next, "A similar application from Bernard B. McKernan, of Dunedin, was deferred until January, 1916, and that of Ernest Duncan McCrea, to March; 1917. A request item Thomas Manus MoGeehan, of Kiriponui, Auckland, for reinstatement' was disallowed.
