PERSONAL.
Mrs Crawford (the wife of Mr Dan Crawford, E.H.G.S., now visiting Wanganui), was trained in the Medical School of Glasgow. In Africa she practises both medicine and surgery. She is is a sister of the successor of Geo. Muller, the present head of the Bristol Orphanages. Mr li.os. Keegan, a well-known resident of the city, died on Tuesday at (he r.' id n e of Mr T. Dwan, Wellington the Dominion). Recently Mr Keegan fell oj Plimmer Steps, the result, it is stated, being concussion of the brain. The deceased was horn in Dublin about flO years ago, and had been educated for the m nival profission, passing the preliminary examinations, but never qualifying owing io his coming to New Zealand. He was in the employ of Sir William Jorvois, when Sir \\ illicit! was Governor of New Zealand, and was a trusted servant of the late .Dr. Grace, for whom he managed a largo' sheep nm up the Wanganui River. He was also manager, for Dr. Grace, of the oid horse trams, previous to the leadng to Mr A. Hall, lie had been in the employ of Messrs Dwan Bros, off and on for (ho last 20 years.
