A FLAXMILL DESTROYED.

LOSS, £IOOO. (Per United Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ October 9. Mr George Craw’s flaxmill at Linton was burnt to the ground on Saturday afterioon, while Craw was in Palmerston. Only three men were present at the time, all the others being away at a meeting. The lire originated in the scutching department, and had a big bold before being discovered. This is the fifth time that Mr Craw has had his mills burnt down. The damage is estimated at over £IOO9, Thirty men were employed at the mill.
