BOWLING.

The St. John’s Club open the season on Saturday, October 21st, and thfe Wanganui Club follows a week later. The Gonville Club have not yet decided upon a date, but probably it will be some time next month before they will be able to make a start. The Patea Club opens on Wednesday nest, and members of the local clubs have each received invitations to be present. The Feilding Club opened on Saturday last, and a party from the St. John’s Club journeyed down by motor to take 1-art, and spent a very enjoyable time. The Feilding green looked a picture, and played almost perfectly.
