High-weight Handicap.—Blast, 9.13, 1; Lady Olivcn, 8.12, 2; Barley Water, 9.2, 3. There were 18 starters, including Sharpshooter. Won by a length and a half, a length between second and third horses. Time, Imin 13fsoc. WaVerley Handicap.—Sandbath, 7.8, 1; Mutilation, 7.0, 2; King Bee, 7.5, 3. Eleven starters. Won by four lengths, a neck between second and third. Time,, 3min If sec. Dowling Steeples.—Hautapu, 11.0, 1, Loch Tyne, 11.0, 2; Leah Kleschna, 11.6, •3. Minore also gtarted, but -fell. The winner led all the way. Leah Kleschna ran 'off. Won by half a furlong, the same distance between second and third. Time, Grain 50fsec. '■■ ■ •''' ' Members' Handicap.—St. Medoc 1, Wilari 2, Malheur 3. Thirteen started. Won by a length and a half, half a length between • second and "third. Time, Imin 55sec. . - Randwick Plate.—Trafalgar, 9.7 (Smith), 1; Cadonia, 9.0 (Pike), 2; Bridge,' 9.3 (McLaughlin), 3. Eight started. Britain, Bibbenluke, and Bridge jumped out. Bibbenluke, accompanied by Crown Grant, led the first time past the post, Trafalgar and Posadas a length behind. At the mile and a quarter Crown Grant showed the way to Trafalgar, Prince Foote, and Posadas., Along the back Trafalgar took command, and at the half mile led by a good length from Bridge and Posadas. He galloped into, the straight two lengths ahead of Bridge and Cadonia. The latter then spurted, but was unable to catch Trafalgar, who won a splendid race by a length’and a half. Bridge was five lengths further back. Prince Pbote and Bibbenluke brought up the rear. Time, 3min 27sec. Final Handicap.—Kuringai l,.Woad 2, Son of the Marsh' 3. 'Fifteen started, including Sharpshooter. Won by a head, half a length between second and third. Time, 2min Ssec. Trafalgar has won the Plate for the third time in succession. Tire time is a record for the race, and equal to the Australasian record. Received October 9, 9.35 a.ra. SYDNEY, October 9. The A.J.C. Meeting was most successful, being a record. Over 150,000 people attended during the four days. Of the ,£29,327 in prize money, New South Wales retained .£24,550. Mr E. J. Watt was the largest New Zealand winner, with £286. Victorian owners only won £IIBOO.
