The steamer Bovcric arrived from San Francisco, via Tonga, and reports that the prospects of floating tho Knight of St. Oeorgo, which is ashore at Nukualofa, is remote. The greater part of the cargo lias been saved at a considerable cost. The greater part of the salvage is in good condition. Probably the decks will have to be blasted to enable the heavy lumber to be removed. Tho lioveric brings part of the salvaged cargo, including 208 tons of copper, 3000 packages of general merchandise. and a shipment of electrical gear valued at A‘30,000, consigned to tho New South Wales Government.
