ALL BUT ELECTROCUTED.
A BOY’S NARROW ESCAPE. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 24. A boy named Charles Clark narrowly escaped being electrocuted on Northland Road early this morning, through his legs becoming entangled in a wire which had been blown away from a telephone pole across the electric tram wires. A passerby kicked the live wire away, and carried the boy to a house, where he was revived. Clark's clothes were burned through and the flesh scorched. He is suffering from shock.
