ANTI-MILITARISM
WAIHI SOCIALISTS PROTEST. A Promise of Assistance. (Per United Press Association.) WAIHI, July 21. A meeting was held here last night, under the auspices of the Socialists, to protest against compulsory military training. A branch of the movement opposed to the scheme was formed, and officers elected. The president of the Socialists said that moral and financial assistance would be given those refusing to register.
