COURTS AND OFFENCES.
(Per United Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH. July 24. Arthur Harold Bunn, a solicitor in the employ of Bell, Gully and Cooper's Palmerston office, pleaded guilty at the S.M. Court this morning to the theft of sums totalling i! 228 10s 6d from his employers. There were between 400 and 500 instances of theft, which extended from November, 1909, till July, 1911. Accused, who was admitted as a solicitor only in Juno last, had charge of the firm’s Court work. lie was committed for sentence to the Supreme Court at Wellington.
