MIKADO TO VISIT PEKING. Press Association.—Telegraph.—Copyright. VIENNA, July 22. M. Gutchoff, ex-President of the Russia Duma, learned in the Far East that the Mikado will visit Peking within a year. This is the first foreign tour any Japanese Emperor has undertaken. The Mikado’s intention is to strengthen Japanese influence in China, and to induce the Chinese to accelerate their reforms.
