SEQUEL TO TRAIN DISASTER

The managing director of the railway has been acquitted in connection with the train disaster on April 22, in which four .carriages and the guard's van toppled over the Blaauw'crn'itz bridge at Grahamstown into a >■';;,.;» 1:50 feet deep. The engine remained v. ihs rails. Twenty passengers ■*,;, killed and twenty-one injured.
