The House of Lords was crowded, many distinguished visitors, including Indian potentates, when Lord Morley moved the third reading of the Parliament Bill. He said that though so changed that it was no longer the Government Bill its rejection would mean a tremendous dislocation of Parliamentary business, and a great exas piration of political opinion. The Government had a right to cxroct the Lords to follow the precedent of the Budget, and pass the Bill approved at the general election.
