Lyell Mining and Railway Company the report adopted showed that development work had been done of a gratifying character, including a valuable discovery at North Lyeil Mine, where a new body of good ore had been struck. It was decided to appoint committees of the Board to deal with the superphosphate business of the company, the remuneration of the committees n.ot to exceed ,£2500 per annum. Including the one to be paid on the 15th of next month, altogether .£2,436,574 have been paid in dividends by the company.
