LONDON, June 11
Harry Boulter, cabled on February 9th last year as being guilty of blasphemies, was sentenced to a month's imprisonment. [Boulter is a tailor's cutter, who has made himself notorious at public meetings. In February, 1907, he was found guilty at the Old Bailey of blasphemy. He made a practice of addressing public meetings — in conjunction with others — at Highbury Corner, Islington, giving utterance to matter of a most blasphemous character. The presiding justice, commenting upon tho seriousness of the crime, gave the prisoner the opportunity of signing a written affirmation, saying that he regretted his utterances, and promising not to repeat them. He was then bound over to come up for judgment when called upon. It would appear probable that Boulter has not kept his promise.]
