LONDON, June 10. Uhilo the delegates were at the ManSIOU House, the Victoria League lunclieoned the colonial ladies at the Hyde Park Hotel. The Countesses of Jersey and Crewe, Ladies Beaconsfield and Northcote, Miss Balfour, and Meedames Ilavcourt, Lyttelton, Gladstone, and Austen Chamberlain were the hostesses. The Labour Party entertained the delegates at tea on the terrace of the House of Commons. No speeches were made. Later, the delegates and the ladies motored to the Ranelagh Club, -where they wore banquetted. Mr Arthur Pearson, who has done much towards organising the Conference, was absent owing to an operation to his eyes. The beautiful grounds were brilliantly illuminated.
