A Vanished Bankrupt.

(Per United Press Association.) t AUCKLAND, April 2. At a meeting of the creditors of ,William Wolf Benjamin, it was stated that " the bankrupt had left for Wellington on March 3rd, and it was believed that he proceeded thence to Sydney, his whereabouts being now unknown. The liabilities are estimated at i 21600, a little over .£BOO being secured. The assets would , not realise .£BOO, so probably the unsecutr ed creditors' claims will be over .£1000': The question of proceedings for apprehension of the bankrupt was left in abeyance pending the Crown solicitor being consulted.
