Premature Thanks to Australia.
LONDON, April 1.The Chronicle publishes a Melbourne cablegram stating that Earl Crewe's thanks for an Australian Dreadnought was premature, as no such offer has been made. It adds that public opinion has been more divided last week owing to the English Conservatives using the crisis for party purposes.
