An Old Man Stab* Himtelf.

(Per United Press Association). ASHBURTON, aMrch 31. On Sunday e\ening an inmate of tho Old Men's Home named Wliliam Deare, who has been ailing for some days, stabbed himself in the abdomen with a. knife while in agony through pain. He was removed to the hospital, where he died last night. The deceased was 76 years of age. An inquest will probably be held.
