PRESBYTERIAN SCHOLARSHIPS

DUNEDIN, March 30
The Theological Committee of the Presbyterian Church has awarded the following scholarships to students who passed the matriculation examination in December last year: —
No. 1 Scholarship; J>2s a year or three year. — R. S. Watson (Feilding). St. Pauls Office-Bearers' ((Wanganui) Scholarship ; £25 a year for three years. — E. J. Tiplcr (East Pareroa). "Mary" Scholarship; .£2O a year for three years. — J. P. White (Pleasant
Somerville No. 2 Scholarship; .£2O a year for three years. — W. Raff (Dunedin). ' "Auld Lang Syne" Club Scholarship; »820 a year for three years. — J. Boyle (Hastings). / The Committee will endeavour to find a scholarship for D. N. McDiarmid (New Plymouth), who gained 432 marks when he matriculated in 1902.
The - Rev. €^ B. Moaro, Remuera,- has secured a "Remuera" scholarship 0f.J25 a year for three years, which he wishes assigned to Harold Peat. The Committee Has agreed to this. It is understod Mr Monro has raised some other money tor the Scholarship Fund.
