Received March 6. 7.45 a.m

PRETORIA, March 5.

Mr Louis Botha's Cabinet was sworm in before Lord Selborne in Parliament Hall. The ceremony was an impressive one. Botha's message through the PreßS to tho British public says that Britain will never have cause to regret the trust placed in the Boer people, who have faith in the Transvaal's future, believing that prosperity and contentment are achievable by legislating in the interests of all. He declares that there are many difficulties ahead, none of which, however, cannot be overcome now that the two races arc cooperating for the country's good. Mr Edward Solomon, also in a message, gives the assurance for the Boers concerned that racialism is dead.
