Extraordinary Defence in a
Divorce Case.

In the divorce case—Livingstone v. Livingstone—at tho Supreme Court, yesterday, the solicitor for the respondent stated that he had been instructed to raise a defepce of collusion; the respondent, however, would admit adultery. The Judge said he would allow the defence to be filed, as he thought it was unique, but was most extraordinary, and he had gravo doubts if collusion could be proved undor the circumstances. It was tho first case of the kind he had "ever heard of.
