The Board then went into committee to consider' appointments' and other business. c Waitotara.—H.' Matthews, of Awatuna, was appointed. Kiwitea.—Several names were forwarded to the Committee. College Street.—Mr W. Gray was appointed headmaster from January 27th, 1902. Miss lanes was appointed assistant. Hawera.—Mr J. Niven was appointed assistant teacher. Okaiawa. —Mr J. A. Harris' resignation was accepted. . Manutahi.—Miss Howie, of G|en Nevis, was appointed. Kiwitea^—Miss Phyn was appointed. - Campbell Street.—Miss H. West was granted two weeks' sick leave with full pay-
