Volunteers Going to the Front
Received September 21, 9.63 a.m. . LONDON, September 20. , Lord Kitchener has forwarded Commandant Prinsloo affidavits showing that on three occasions individual burghers deliberately murdered wounded troops and unarmed surrenderee. In anticipation of the raid in Natal, the Carbineers and Umvote Mounted Rifles are also summoned. The Durban Volunteers havo entrained northwards. -Lyttclton's. regulars are estimated at 1000. Field cornets mutilated Lord Kitchener's proclamation to prevent their men surrendering. .Rinderpest has appeared in the Govornment herd in the neighbourhood of Pretoria.
