Definition of a Hack.— A hack is a horsa that has never won an advertised race (haok and hunter races excepted), and that is not, at the time of nomination, nominated for any race — hack or hunter races eicepted, nor has won a race of thb value of 80 soys, or races of the collective value of 160 boys, since Ist August, 18J9. Entries by telegram must give full particulars of the horse in terms of new Rule 46 (otherwise entry will be invalid), and must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. Owners, Trainers and others entering and accepting horses for the W.J.C. Meetings are notified that no entries or acceptances will be received unless accompanied by tho necessary amount in cash. This notification does not apply to Owners and Trainers who have standing arrangements with the Executive. Stakes are paid in full.
