TIPS FOR MOMOHAKI MEETING.

Tho Momohaki Racing Club's annual meeting takes place on Tuesday, the 28th inst., and promises to be a most enjoyable tryst. Tho sport should be first-class, and the attendance large. The ball opens with the Hurdle Race, for which Te Ata (lOst 71b), Kimberley (9st 121b),Commotion (9st 71b), Conspiracy, Whalebone, and Moonraker (9et 41b eaoh) have accepted. To try and select the winner I shall go for To Ate 1 Kimberley ... 2 Conspiracy ... 3 The Flying Handicap follows, for which 14 have cried content, and I expect to see a splendid finish in this event. Despised (9st Bib) is top weight, and if ia bis old form will bo hard to beat. Corsair (Bst 131 b) Ido not fancy. Mirabello (Bst 121 b) has a big show of winning, but is troubled' with a cold at present. _ Empress (Bat 61b) has improved a lot, and if tho going be hard I must stand her for a place. The Peer (Bst) will, I think, stand a better show of annexing tho Cup. Waltonia (fat 51b) i, going' very well and will be about at thn 1 finish. White Rose (7st 81b), I hear is going well, and may upset the pot. Satyr (fistVlhf Delegate (7st 111 b), Javelin (7st 81bV Waihi (7st4lb), She(7st 31b,, mtia C7rt lib), and Mahaseer (7st) are the rest I shall go for Mirabello , j Despised.., '"t" t 2 Em F« , $
