COLLEGIATE SCHOOL.
The breaking up of the above school took place to-day, when the prizes were delivered. A large number of ladies 'and gentlemen in* forested in, the school were also present. , On the platform were Mr Gilbert Canon 1 , the Rev* Mr Tudor, Mr Oven, and the Rev; Mr Harvey. The prices were delivered by Mr Caraon, assisted ky the Rer. Mr M Hwvey, who made some applicable remarks regarding the work done in each case by the prize* winners., Mr Carson also congratulated the winners of several of the important prizes, and made some remarks on the improvements made in the Collegiate School under tha Rev. Mr Jlaryey. / rWhen the prizes had been, de* livered, Mr A. A. Browne called for' 'three cheers for the nrinpipal, and thej^ were given heartily, as also, were cheers for Mrt Harvey and Mr Carobri. The boys the)a dispersed, all being well pleased with their morning's work, and wwh mutual wishes' 6f a^Morry Christina* and a Happy New' Year both for teachers and soholars.
