Adelaidf, Deo 16. — The cricket match between the Australian and English teams was resumed here to day, when the forirer, with four wickets down for 152 ruas, con* tinued their second innings, which closed for a total of 191. The following are the scores made to-day :— Cooper, c, 6 j Bonnor, c, 19; Palmer, 0} Boyle, 0} Alexander, st, 10. Bannerman did not bat, having been injured earlier in the game. The Englishmen, re* quiring 66 runs to win the match, then went in for their second innings. When play was adjourned for luncheon, 14 runa had been scored for the loss of two wickets— Flowers, c, 6 ; Scotton, c, 2. Barnes and Shrewsbury followed, and remained in until the required number had been scored, Barnes making 26, and Shrewsbury OS. The Englishmen thus won the match by eight wickets.
