THE BRITISH PARLIAMENT. London, Dec 14.— Both Houses of Parliament are summoned to meet for despatch of business on February sth. THE REBELLION IN THH SOUDAN. Cairo, Dec 14. — A telegram has been received irom the Governor of Dongole announcing that he ' has received authentic information that Hicks Pashe was not killed at the time hia army was rnnihilated by the rebel Arabs, but succeeded in escaping, and is now at Berket. Later intelligence from the Soudan statea that dissension has occurred among the tribes who were leagued together under El Mahdi, and that they are now returning to their former isolated condition. THE TONQUIN DIFFICULTY. General Mullot has received ordera to proceed to Tonquin in command of two brigades, compi'ising 3000 men. The forces in Tonquin will, by these reinforcements, be raised to a strength of 15,000 men. THE GERMAN PRINCE IN HIS TRAVELS. • Madrid,' Dec 14. — Prince Frederick William, the German Crown Prince, arrived today at Barcelona, en route, for Italy. THE NEW KING OF ANAM AND THE FRENCH. Hoxa Kong, Dec 14. — A report ha 3 reached here that the usurper of the Throne of Anam, who caused the late King to be poisoned, refuses to recognise the treaty which his predecessor made with the French Commissioner, M. Harnaud, and will declare war against the French. - -
