London, May 17. The head-quarters of the Russian army have been transferred to Plojesti.
The accounts -of the repulse of Russian troops at Batoum arc substantially confirmed.
Russian despatches state that Turkish iron-clads bombarded Lukhum Kaleh, Asia, and a desperate battle was fought on land, many Jbeing killed and wounded. The French Ministry have resigned.
