At my sale yards to-day, the attendance was not so large as at previous sales ; the cattle were of good quality, and realised full values. Cattle.—llo head were yarded, and • all sold at quotations. Fat cattle made from £7 17s 6d to £117s 6d; stores, 18-months to 2 y ears, £4 10s; cows, £4i 12s 6d. I quote prime beef at 23s the lOOlbs ; medium, 20s. Sheep.—Shorn sheep, light weights, and'only half fattedbrought Cs. Houses.—Dull, little or no demand ; a good many came forward, and wore nearly all withdrawn from the sale. Exports for the fortnight ending 23rd Dec—Cattle, 169 head ;'slieep, 2,300. ■
