THE SHERARD OSBORNE
CREW LITTERS FOOD. ANTWERP, Monday. An officer appropriately named Bearpark is taking over the command of the Sherard Osborne during Captain MeLure’s absence in London. The crew nonchalantly departed under the supervision of two policemen armed with revolvers and truncheons. They were taken by motor bus to the Harwich steamer. Onlookers were disappointed at the lack of further incidents, which previously included the throwing overboard of dunnage of unpopular seamen. The crew after lunch scattered soup and food all over the forecastle.
Mr W. Gore Graham, the Cambridge undergraduate, left the ship without informing the captain. lie intends to fly to London after being paid off tomorrow.
