THE COMING SESSION. PREAIIER CONFIDENT. AVELLINGTON, Alonday. “I am facing the coming session with less worry and more confidence than L have faced any previous session, stated the Prime Almister (thes Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) to-day. The Government’s plans are working out just as we had hoped—there is evidence of this from all parts. Aly recent visit to the South Island made clear to me the people’s attitude towards the Government’s actions to date. The history of New Zealand politics puts it beyond all reasonable doubt that any attempt to bring about social justice will always receive opposition from the reactionary forces of the Dominion. The experience of the Rt. Hon. R. J. Seddon is suflicient evidence of this. ’ ’
