= • ; . LONDON SALES. LONDON, Thursday. At the wool sales to-day, 8948 bales were offered, including 5533 New Zealand and 3320 Australian. Approximately 8298 New Zealand and Australian were sold. There was active Home and Continental eompptition. Crossbreds found a ready sale to Bradford at steady rates. Merinos showed a 5 per cent advance on last sales’ closing rates. New ' Zealand greasy crossbred, “Netherton,” sold: highest SJd, average 7 5-8 d; lamb slipe, TBS Canterbury, highest Is, average 11 l-Bd.
