SLUMS ABOLITION

LONDON “HOUSING CENTRE.” LONDON, Friday. To co-ordinate work for the abolition of slums and re-housing, a “housing centre” has been opened in London. It was stated that the Government was housing slum tenants at the rate of 150,000 a year, and the rate was being accelerated. A direct attack on overcrowding was also being organised.
