CONTRACT FOR BRITAIN
SECURED BY PRINCE. LONDON, Friday. The Earl of Dudley, at the Iron and Steel Federation dinner, revealed that as a result of the Prince of Wales’s interview with authorities at Rio de Janeiro, Britain had secured a £3,000,000 contract for the electrification of part of the Brazil Central Railway, Metro-Vickers signing the contract last week.
