ATTACKED BY LIONS
TRAINER INJURED. SYDNEY, Sunday. John Stephens, an animal trainer aged 52, known professionally as "Captain Monzala,” was attacked by a lion during a circus act. The lion knocked him down and badly lacerated his arm. A lioness also sprang at Monzala, but the animals were repelled by attendants before they could further harm the trainer.
