KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR
man fatally injured.
AUCKLAND, Sunday.
Fatal injuries were sustained by Frederick Cossey, 88, of Mount Albert, Auckland,' as a result ( of being knocked down, by a car.' >, MfliCossey was walking across the Road onway to the Mt. Albert Methodist Church when he was struck by a car driven'by the Rev. Dr. J. J. North, who was on his way to take a service at' Avondale. Mr Cossey was taken into the church until an ambulance arrived. He suffered concussion and severe shock, and his death occurred after his admission to hospital. Mr Cossey was a well-known pioneer of the Drury district. —(P.A.)
