KNOCKED DOWN BY LORRY
WOMAN KILLED. DUNEDIN, Friday. While walking to catch a train at St. Leonard’s this afternoon, Beatrice Brown was struck by a motor lorry opposite the station on the main road, and was killed instantaneously, the base of her skull being fractured. She was employed as a housekeeper by William Barclay, a retired grocer, St. Leonard’s. —(P.A.)
