RAIN IN WELLINGTON

ATHLETIC MEETING. MAY BE POSTPONED. WELLINGTON, This Day. For some weeks water shortage has made cricket prospects very difficult in Wellington, owing to inability to keep the wickets in condition. It is extremely unlikely that any outdoor fixtures will be held, including the athletic meeting, with British and Finnish athletes as the main attraction. —(P.A.)
