AUCKLAND BRIDGE
KRUPP’S REFUSE AN OFFER. (Received Friday, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, Thursday. In connection with the New Zealand report that Krupp’s offered to finance and build the Auckland harbour bridge, J. F. Melling, Krupp’s agent in London, after reference to the directors at Essen, told the Sun-Herald Service that Krupp’s had been approached about the matter eleven months ago but had refused after an examination of the proposition.
