SALE AT SOLWAY. SECOND DAY’S PRICES. The second day of' the ram fair at the A. and P. Association grounds opened this morning with flock Southdown rams. The attendance of buyers was as largo as at yesterday’s sale. Eight from the opening the bidding was very spirited, there being few passings in the morning. The highest prices were reached before lunch for entries in flock Romneys of Air H. J. Andrew of the South Island, prices being 114, 12 and 16gns., and sold to R. Bassett, Dalefield, A. and J. Gray, East Taratahi, and Jasper Bros., Eketahuna, respectively. The following sales were recorded up till the time the “Daily Times” went to press:— FLOCK SOUTHDOWNS.
