BARTER AGREEMENTS
ITALY’S FUTURE POLICY. LONDON, Wednesday. The ‘f News-Chronicle’s” Rome correspondent says it is asserted that substitutes will be foujid for goods hitherto imported into Italy. Foreign finished products will be practically banned and Italy’s future policy will be barter agreements with individual countries.
Signor: Gavda, in an article in the “Giornalc d’ltalia,” says: Italy is not going to suppress foreign imports, but regulate them according to the needs and possibilities of the lira. W 6 are entering a phase of widespread manoeuvring.
