FORCED LANDING
LONG WALK THROUGH JUNGLE. I /; BATAVIA, Wednesday. . Lord Sempill arrived at Banjuwangi by motor bus.- . He states he made a forced landing in the darkness and walked for hours through the jungle, after which he was picked up by a motor bus. LorcL Sempill intends to return to the landing place with fuel supplies, and to continue the flight if possible.
A previous cable stated that the failure of! Lord Sempill to arrive at Sourabaya tesulted in a search by Dutch navy ’planes, which located Lord .Sempill’s ,’plane on the East Java coast, near Sitobondo.,,
