LINCOLN BREEDERS

ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual meeting of the Lincoln Sheep Breeders’ Association of New Zealand was held yesterday afternoon, the president, Mr L. R. Wilton, occupying the chair. The annual report stated that the export of Lincoln sheep to the Argentine had been well maintained, six of their well-known breeders having sent 58 rams to that country.

Speaking to the annual report Mr Wilton said there was a fair demand for Lincolns in the South Island- and the Argentine market had proved very satisfactory in the past twelve months.,

The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr L. R. Wilton; vice-pre-sident, Mr M. P. Bremer (Waverley); treasurer, Mr D. Donald; council, Messrs H. J. Rayner, D. Donald, J. H. Percy. Mr G. W. Seller was reappointed auditor.

Votes of thanks were passed to the president (Mr Wilton) and the secretary, Mr W. V. Madden, for their services during the past year.
