END OF MINERS’ STRIKE,

(Received Monday, 11.0 a.m.) PERTH, This Day. The Western Australian gold-mining companies have accepted the Mine Minister’s proposals for the settlement of the dispute, which has sauced the mines to be idle for six weeks, and work will be resumed immediately. Within six weeks the miners will decide by a ballot whether they are in favour of a fortnight with forty hours one week, and forty-eight hours the next, or a fortyfour hours’ week. Miners at a mass meeting decided in favour of the resumption on this basis.
