YOUNG MAN KILLED
A GLIDER CRASH. (Received Friday, 11.0 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. Robert Harris, aged 22, was killed when his glider crashed 150 feet at the Saltpan Aerodrome at Cairns. The glider, which was home-made, failed to come out of a dive, and struck the ground with terrific force, being embedded to a depth of two feet.
