COMMUNIST OUTRAGE THOUSANDS OF CHINESE KILLED. Presa Association Electric Telecraph—Copyright SHANGHAI, Saturday. News of one of the most atrocious, butcheries of defenceless Chinese by Communists has reached Nanking from a report from General Liao Chen, divisional commander of the anti-Red forces engaged in bandit suxqxrcssion in Northern Szechwan. General Liao Chen reports that it is estimated that 30,000 men, women and children were slaughtered in. a most cold-blooded manner in the city of Wanyuen, Szechwan, before the Reds evacuated the city under pressure from the Government troops. Within a radius of 35 miles the population has been almost completely wiped out. The trail of the marauders is marked by smouldering ruins and death. Starvation is' facing the survivors unless relief is immediately forthcoming.
