AIR LINER ASTREA
RETURNS TO DARWIN,
(Received Saturday, 12.25 p.m.) DARWIN, This Day
Strong head winds over the Timor Sea' caused the Imperial Airways air liner Astrea to return to Darwin, after travelling one hundred miles from the Australian Coast.
Captain who was piloting the Astrea, decided that, with only \ six hours’ flying range, he would have too small a margin of safety for a flight to Koepang. The ’plane will leave again to-day.
