Queensland have lost three wickets for 94 (Sides 33 not out, Levy 27 not out). At Adelaide, South Australia in their first innings made 200 (Badcock 47, Lonergan 45, Waite 35, Lee 46; Fleet-wood-Smith 5 for 60, Sicvers 2 for 39). Victoria, in their first innings, have lost three wickets for 61.

TO-DAY’S PLAY. PALMERSTON NORTH, This Day. The Hawke Cup match was resumed this morning in fine cool weather and with a strong easterly breeze. Hundleby and Cresswell resumed Marlborough’s second innings, but with the score unaltered Hundleby snicked the fast bowler Gallichan into the wicketkeeper’s hands. Two for ten. In the next half hour’s play Marlborough lost two more wickets, Cresswell being .caught when 11 and A. Neal bowled for nil, the score being 36 for 4 wickets. At the luncheon adjournment the score was;—Marlborough, all out for 94; Manawatu, 1 for 51. —(P.A.)
